Did you send a copy of this to Ryan Lowe in time for the Crewe game?

"The best way to counter a high press is for the central midfielders to be brave in their movement off the ball"

Seems he took your advice second half!

We’ll not make automatic. I don’t think we’ve ever looked like doing.

Sitting in 4th having to play all 3 above us at home still we have a very good chance, its weird though because as the away form has suggested we should be midtable at best, change that slightly and we will be good for promotion.

Via the play-offs. 😉 We’re not consistent enough, our away form isn’t good enough, and we let in FAR too many goals. There’s a LOT going well for us this season, but there’s too much not going quite right to see us into the top 3 IMO.

We’ve played Mansfield at home.

Very true was thinking Colchester were still above us!

Think it’ll be a play-off spot finish, personally! As others have said, Lincoln, MK and Mansfield (who I think may challenge for the title) are looking strong. A 4th or 5th place finish is my prediction.

Good O P Spee, especially the point about the midfield having to work harder an be brave when they are pressed. We do struggle against the pressing teams, we can combat it as we did against Oldham albeit after we went 3-0 down. We have to show the steely determination and not get dragged into the long ball game, move the ball quicker and hope the referees back the team that is attempting to play the game legally.
